Stormbreaker had its world premiere in London’s Leicester Square this week. Intrepid hero Alex Pettyfer, was in attendance, alongside co-stars Ewan McGregor, Mickey Rourke, Bill Nighy and Alicia Silverstone. The film is the first adaptation from the bestselling Anthony Horowitz books about the adventures of teenage spy Alex Rider and features one of the longest chase sequences ever shot in the capital. Made possible with help from the London Filming Partnership the spectacular scene covered four miles across Hyde Park along Piccadilly and ending in Leadenhall Street. More than 50 cars, 12 London taxis, three double-decker buses and 20 members of the Household Cavalry took part. View the trailer.
